The Good News About Jesus

You are loved and can know God.  You can be forgiven through Jesus.  You can have a new start and a new future - starting now and lasting forever.

We believe the world didn’t happen by accident. God created it—every person, every place—out of love, with purpose and care. You were made to know Him, to live in relationship with Him, with others, and with the world around you.

But something went wrong.

Humans chose to turn away from God. The Bible calls this sin—not just the things we do wrong, but the deep-rooted decision to live life our own way instead of God’s. This broke our relationship with Him, and we still feel the effects today: in ourselves, in our relationships, and in the world.

God didn’t give up on us.

Throughout history, He reached out in different ways—through people, promises, and His guidance—to bring us back into relationship with Him. But the real solution came in a way no one expected.

God sent His Son, Jesus.

Jesus didn’t just teach about love—He lived it. Completely selfless, full of grace and truth, He showed what God is like. And then, in the greatest act of love, He went to the cross.

On the cross, Jesus took on everything that separates us from God—our sin, our guilt, our brokenness. He chose to give His life for us, making a way for us to be forgiven and brought back into relationship with God.

But the story doesn’t end there.

Jesus rose from the dead. This means sin and death don’t have the final word. It means new life is possible—real, lasting, transformed life, eternal life with God.

And He didn’t leave us alone.

God gives His Holy Spirit to everyone who trusts in Jesus. The Spirit helps us know God personally, grow in faith, and live differently—learning to love others, care for creation, and become who we were made to be.

This is the good news found in the Bible and experienced by over 2 billion Christians today. All that’s left is your response to this wonderful invitation to new life.
