Children and families are really important in the life of our church and our community. Here at SBC we have loads for you to get involved with!
You can sign up here to join our weekly newsletter which will keep you up to date with everything that is going on for you and your families.
We also run Messy Church events every month (more details below) where we explore a biblical theme together through craft, activities, games, celebration time and sharing a meal. We also have special one off events throughout the year too; summer holiday club, light party and parenting courses.

Here at Stopsley Baptist Church we aim to offer a safe environment for parents and carers to play with their children and make new friends. These groups are led by church and community volunteers who help run the sessions. Both Babybaloo and Hullabaloo sessions mark special occasions and Christian celebrations throughout the year.
Please remember that you are responsible for the children you bring at all times. We do ask you abide by our staying safe rules below. If you are unable to attend for more than half a term, please let us know or we will assume you no longer require your place and allocate it to someone on the waiting list. We look forward to meeting you! Any questions then do get in touch.

Due to the demand for these groups, each family can only attend one session per week.

Childminders Together
Mondays | 1.15 - 2.45PM

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new group called ‘Childminders Together’ starting in September. This group will offer childminders the opportunity to come together, support one another and have fun! Together we will work as a team to create engaging sessions offering activities, which tie in with the early year’s curriculum and your planned activities all helping to enrich children’s lives.
Babybaloo
Tuesdays | 1.15 - 2.45pm
SBC
Babybaloo is a group for babies under 1 year old, it's a chance to meet up with and get to know other 'New Parents'. There will be baby toys, mats and activities more suited to babies. Refreshments provided. We will have music and will finish the session with some rhymes or instruments. Please read the Staying Safe Rules (link below) and all enquiries to our FB page.
Hullabaloo
Tuesday-Thursday / Thursday | 10.00 - 11.30am / 1.15 - 2.45pm

A stay and play session for parents/carers and their children aged 0-4 years in the family room and ride-on toys in the back rooms. Refreshments provided. All sessions run identically and allow your children and carers to explore the activities and facilities provided. Please read the Staying Safe Rules (link below) and all enquiries to our FB page.
For families involving Messy Church is a way of being church fun, it is found across the world and it’s values are about being Christ-centred, for all ages, based on creativity, hospitality and celebration.
